We are proud to announce that The Civil Air Patrol has chartered a new squadron in Wesley Chapel!
The Wesley Chapel Cadet Squadron, an organization with both Cadet and Senior members, is based at
We are committed to the missions of CAP. The cadet program is for youth ages 12 to 21. The goal of the cadet program is to develop young people into responsible citizens and aerospace leaders through leadership training and experience, aerospace education, developing a habit of lifelong fitness and an emphasis on community service.
Today, Civil Air Patrol handles 90 percent of inland search and rescue missions. On average, each year CAP members fly more than 100,000 hours in operational missions and each year they help save more than 100 lives. CAP provides air and ground support for disaster relief, flies government agency officials to remote locations, transports blood or live tissue to critical care sites and performs aerial damage assessment. Our members are generally the first on the scene transmitting satellite digital images of the damage within seconds around the world and providing disaster relief and emergency services following natural and manmade disasters.
