***UPDATE***
Date for Encampment has been changed

NEW DATE - TBA

FLORIDA WING SUMMER ENCAMPMENT
Camp Blanding, FL

Encampments are week long activities that serve to build a foundation for cadets from which they build their Civil Air Patrol experience.  These week long events provide an in-depth orientation to Civil Air Patrol and the United States Air Force.  First time cadets can expect to be challenged both mentally and physically during a busy and exciting week of hands on leadership development training, aerospace events, and local site activities.  Cadet returning as staff will be challenged even further through the leadership roles they will fill and staff duties they will perform.  All cadets will have the opportunity to be introduced to the military, learn to overcome challenges, develop time-management skills, enhance their interpersonal skills and have a great time.

Welcome to our Squadron

Come and Join the FUN!

Our Squadron is located at the North Tampa Aero Park just off of SR 54 in Wesley Chapel.
We meet every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm in the airport hangar.  (The big red, white, and blue building)  Everyone is invited and welcome to visit!

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is the civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force. CAP is a non-profit volunteer organization with an aviation-minded membership that includes people from all backgrounds, lifestyles, and occupations. CAP performs three congressionally assigned key missions: emergency services, aerospace education for youth and the general public, and cadet programs.

Membership in the organization consists of cadets ranging from 12 to 21 years of age, and
senior members 18 years of age and up. These two groups each have the opportunity to
participate in a wide variety of pursuits.  Cadets get to test-fly careers in aviation, space, and
the military as they train in leadership, character development, aerospace education, and
physical fitness. The adult members serve as mentors, instructors, supervisors, and operators
training in and performing CAP's missions.  Members wear uniforms while performing their
duties. Wesley Chapel Cadet Squadron is proud to be the home of many active cadets who
are involved in personal growth and helping the community. For further information please
send us an email or come to one of our meetings.  Visit our calendar and upcoming activities pages for up to date events.
